The sign above the door says Celegant Beauty. That is the right place. Celegant Beauty, the Celegant Hair Edmonton salon and the Braiding Academy all share this one unit, so there is no separate Academy entrance and no separate sign to look for. Come in and say you are here for the Academy.
Hours
Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00am to 5:30pm
Those are the hours for in-person Academy enquiries. You are welcome to walk in and look at the room during them. The Celegant Beauty store and the Celegant Hair Edmonton salon at this address keep their own trading hours, and Academy class times are separate from both.

Class times
- Foundations Intensive: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 3:30pm to 6:30pm, ten weeks.
- Class size: Maximum 8 students, 2 instructors, for every in-person program.

Cohorts begin on the 1st of the month, four times a year. Foundations takes an intake every quarter. Each specialty certification runs twice a year. If you enrol between intakes your place is held for the next start date, and everyone who enrols in that window begins together.
Getting here
By car
We are in the Southside of Edmonton, on 51 Ave NW near 89 Street.
Driving and parking
We are just off the 51 Avenue and 91 Street intersection, directly opposite the RONA on the Southside. If you can see RONA, you are in the right place.
There is ample free parking directly in front of the unit. You do not need to circle, and you do not need coins.
Parking
There is ample parking at the storefront, including two designated accessible spaces. You will not be circling the block before a class starts.
By transit
Getting here by transit
The nearest bus stop is on 89 Street and 51 Avenue, beside the complex, about a three minute walk from our door.
Most buses from that stop connect to Southgate Transit Centre, which is the hub to aim for if you are coming from further away. Southgate is on the Capital Line LRT, so you can reach us from downtown, the University of Alberta and the north end of the city with one train and one bus.
We deliberately do not print route numbers here, because they change and a wrong number costs you an evening. Plan your trip on the Edmonton Transit Service journey planner using our postcode, or phone (587) 873-9331 and we will talk you through it.
Finding Unit 316
Unit 316 is in building 3. It is not on a third floor. The site is single storey, so there are no stairs and no lift to negotiate: you park, you walk in. Look for building 3 and the Celegant Beauty sign.
Accessibility
We would rather give you an honest answer than a reassuring one, so here is exactly what the space is like.
- Step-free entry. The building is single storey. Unit 316 is in building 3, not on a third floor, so there are no stairs and no lift.
- Parking. Ample, including two designated accessible spaces.
- The salon and store are wheelchair accessible.
- The washroom is not a wheelchair-accessible washroom. A wheelchair fits inside it, but there is not enough clearance to turn around and there are no grab bars.
We are telling you that last one plainly because finding out on the day is worse.
