Please read this before you read anything else. These policies are written in good faith and in plain English, to the standard normally used by training providers in Canada. Terms of Enrolment and Website Use
The main agreement. Who you are contracting with, who can enrol, payment and instalments, what the certificate is and is not, our course materials, liability, and governing law.
Money
Refunds, withdrawals and rescheduling
The cooling-off period, the refund schedule by notice period, pro-rata withdrawal after the program starts, moving to a later cohort, what happens if we cancel, Afterpay instalments, employer and grant funding, and the separate terms for the online program.
In the classroom
Attendance and code of conduct
The 80% attendance rule, missed sessions and catching up, the 70% assessment rule, what we expect in the room, and the grounds on which someone can be asked to leave.
Health, safety and liability
What this work actually involves, your health declaration, allergies and sensitivities, tension and the right to stop, your belongings, insurance, and who is responsible for what.
Model policy and waiver
We do not currently use live models. This sets out the standard that would apply if we ever did.
